YOUTH MENTORING

Youth Mentoring is one of the main focus(s) of the FEEG Group. The goal of this program is to guide and mentor youth so that they can become successful and confident adults. Activities are held throughout the year with an emphasis on conquering goals and personal development.

This past September, FEEG sponsored a 'Summer End' Party for youth and young adults. The event was kicked off with some barbeque, games, and a campfire at the end of the night. The event was co-sponsored by Lakeside Worship Center.

This past Spring, FEEG co-sponsored a Youth Spring Break trip with Lakeside Worship Center to Winter Jam Concert in Peoria. It was an amazing night of inspirational Christian music with artists such as Lecrae, Crowder, Katy Nichole, and Cane.

THE FEEG SUMMER CAMP is a recreational program geared at teaching youth healthy living habits all while keeping them engaged in positive activities.
Youth participate in basketball skills training and games. FEEG sponsors two separate camps. The '654' camp is for kids ages 8 to 12 (4th through 6th grade). The second camp 'Friday Night Lights' is geared towards high school age youth through 21 yr old(s).
The FEEG Group has expanded their mentoring progams to the young adult population of 18-21 yr olds given so many of our youth have reached adulthood yet still enjoy participating in many of FEEG's programs.

We had a great turn out at both of this year's summer sports camps. This was our fifth year holding the Highschool age camp at the Community Sportsplex in Plainfield.

Thanks to the adults who have volunteered their time to help out with the camp!!
